This volcano is created by natural gases emitted by decaying organic matter underground. Due to the pushed upwards buy the gas this type of volcano made. 

As the muds comes out and spills over the edge it grows in size, gradually forming a miniature volcano with a rich, creamy mud creation at the top.

This volcano is reached by road from Nilambur Jetty and a little walk from the Jawara Creek.
