Great Nicobar Island is about 540 km by sea from Port Blair which is open for Indian tourists only. In this island the southern most tip “Indira Point” of India is located.

Megapode a rare bird only found in this island and this island about 400 sqr. miles in area. Great Nicobar Biosphere reserve, the only biosphere reserve in Andaman and Nicobar Islands present in this island. The Campbell bay is very close to the biosphere reserve. In this island few beaches are there which clean and clear water and sandy.
