It is one of the remarkable tourist attraction in Andaman & Nicobar Islands. It has a remarkable history of forestry and is located about 47 nautical miles from Port Blair. It is also a modern village having all the basic facilities which are generally not available in other villages in Andaman & Nicobar Islands. 

In this Island two beaches are famous on is Balaji Bay Beach another one is Blue Planet Beach.

Balaji Bay Beach is on the north of this island. Balaji Bay beach is in C-shaped which looks beautiful. This beach is ideal for Swimming, nature photography, trekking, etc.

Another famous beach is Blue Planet beach where one can enjoy the sandy beach and swimming in this beach.
